Honoring Military Families, Service Members, and Home-Bound Veterans.
The Blue Star Banner was created during World War I and displayed by families who had a service member serving in the Armed Forces. If a service member died while serving their country, the blue star was replaced with a Gold Star to honor their ultimate sacrifice.
At Haddonfield American Legion Post 38, we honor our local Blue and Gold Star families with personal home visits and holiday poinsettias. We also extend our gratitude to our home-bound members through visits and support gifts.
