Linda is an aging life care manager and the president of the New Jersey Chapter of the Aging Life Care Association.

Life care managers – also known as geriatric care managers – act as professional guides and problem-solvers for older adults and their families, navigating health, housing, and aging-related challenges. They typically are certified or have licenses in several fields.

Lois owns and operates Seniors on the Move, a business that focuses on easing the burden and stress for individuals and couples when the time comes to downsize. Over the past ten years, she has helped more than 600 clients to manage their move in a planned, organized, and calm manner – for the benefit of all.

Lois is also a certified member of the National Home Watch Association. As such, she performs scheduled, visual inspections of unoccupied or vacant properties while the owners are away – looking for obvious issues, securing the premises, and providing peace of mind.

ADDY SCHULTZ

Addy worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for nearly 50 years as a medical speech therapist working with stroke and cancer patients, and with adults with voice and swallowing impairments. She was a volunteer hospital lay chaplain at Jefferson for 20 years, and has cuddled babies in the intensive care nursery for the past seven years.

Although Addy's parents both died when she was young – so she is not, in fact, a "former adult child" – she hosted a monthly caregiver support group for adult children for about eight years. As members of the group lost their parents they began to focus on their own mortality, aging issues, legacy, and how to approach these issues with their own children.
